Shriram Properties has decided to give only Commercial Electricity Connection to all flat buyers from now onwards. Check this news item about Shriram Greenfield in THE HINDU.
They have found commercial tarriff beneficial for buyers and hence for all new projects they are going with same approach. Buyers will not get BESCOM meters and RR numbers. Instead builder will buy electricty from BESCOM and provide the same to buyers at commercial rates.

I was planning to invest in a site which is opposite this project hardly 100 metres.
What would be the future appreciation around the vicinity and would it be a good call to invest for long term.
What is the current rate per sqft and what would it be if we invest in plot in the next 5 to 10 years ?
Would this come under BBMP in future ?
Also the metro stretch ? Would it come up around the vicinity and any other growth infrastructure to push rates.
