New Home Buyers Please Stay AWAY!

Do not pay any token advance to any property from Shriram and if you decided to opt out due to financial/personal reasons your advance money will not come back. They will not even give a receipt for the advance and they will chase you till you pay it and they are happy to get it through Credit Card, UPI, Netbanking etc., Once you pay it, you will start facing one of the greatest pathetic situations where you have given your money and someone else will boss you.

On top of it, if you wish to cancel the booking, they will never turn back. Just look at the @shriramprops twitter handle. So many people are facing utmost mental agony with they way they have been handled. You have to forget your money as per them if you dont wish to proceed. AS PER LAW THEY CANNOT FORFEIT YOUR BOOKING AMOUNT BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO A REGISTERED CONTRACT. Even then Indian laws do not allow any builder to forfeit the entire 100% of your amount.

Ask them for an itemized receipt for which your token amount is used and you can very well file TDS. They will never respond to whatever you speak is right legally. They just want to force you to stay with them and suffer for life with your money stuck in their pockets. As a next step, you can also post reviews in sites wherever they do their marketing, like magicbricks,, homeznspace, commonfloor, 99acres etc. You can also take it to twitter, linkedin and spread this word until you get your money.

Just check RERA TN, RERA Karnataka, RERA West Bengal websites to know all their filthy works and how the law has played its role in paying a penalty to the customer.
