Don’t purchase flat from Godrej. They are just in hurry of giving the possession so that they can take full money. And then give you a flat with no lift..no club house….No permanent power…oh and best part they start charging maintenance even though they haven’t completed the work a 100%.

Location 3. Layout Plans and amenities 4. We visited the project on 9-Feb to book a flat in phase 3 and had a very bad experience. The project is a complete mess up. They have placed a staff Prashanto Mukherjee, who is least bothered about the customers and is not ready to help. Cons and my experience of the project: a) A drain is going through the project, which they claim to cover it. but the fact remains. Few say, it is outside the property etc. b) There is a low tension electric tower standing next to the phase 1 tower. This guy said it is getting removed from there and the proposal is approved by BDA in phase 1. I asked him, why it has been not moved till now. dear harish, me and my husband had visited the place and it was totally unprofessional. we went on a monday and we told them that we will come over on thursday and finalise the property.They said that you can take time till friday. When we went on thursday, they told us that they have sold it on wednesday. you can understand as a customer, how irritating and saddening it is. i will never ever recommend even my worst enemy to go with godrej.

Hi Harish,

I visited Godrej ECity. Really liked the floor plan of 3 BHK. However, there is only one approach road to the property from Ecity (that is from Crowne Plaza, Infy, HP, Wipro side). The road gets narrow at places where it becomes narrow like a one way lane. Don’t you think this will adversely affect the property appreciation ? Are there any plans from the government to widen the road? Is there any other approach to the property? Would greatly appreciate your views on these aspects.

I am looking for a 3BHK in the price range of 70-75L, and am considering E-city and Summit. However, I am a bit skeptical about the construction being done by the Universal builders, instead of Godrej. Further, is it true that the project started as a villa and then got converted to normal apartments and people have reported it might be due to the sewage issue.
Is it a good investment?

Hi,
I don’t think the claim Universal Builders, responsible for construction of ECity Bangalore. is part of Godrej is true. Please check pages 25 and 27 of the link below. When all other projects mention Godrej before project name (except in case of joint development), its missing for E City. Also, page 27 mentions Godrej only gets direct marketing fee for this project. How come Godrej undertakes construction of other projects (as per revenue details provided in investor presentation) and gives only ECity to its subsidiary to save tax, the logic seems a bit out of place right? :-). This is just my view, but I guess an investor presentation is more reliable than information from other sources.

I am in touch with godrej folks about 3BHK booking but recently i came across this link wherein i can see various opinions. And to my judgement it seems most people are furious over the things like godrej is marketing but builder is different and not professionals. Let me know what you think. I may change my mind. Thanks

Because i see that they have launched the Phase-2 of it. So the phase-1 was OK?
